Inspired by our candle ‘Bees of Beesley Green’ this handcrafted lampshade builds on this theme; created using a natural, linen-look fabric to conjure memories of the calming background buzzing of bumble bees as they aid pollination migrating their way from flower to flower. This collection is tied to my family name and the friendly bee; that symbol of Manchester, the name exuding strong feelings for me. I wished to create a collection to elicit that same feeling to bring that emotion forward.
Crafted with care and attention to detail, our lampshade is made of high-quality linen-mix and cotton materials. The shade features a unique design that beautifully captures the essence of the honey bee.
When illuminated, the lampshade creates a mesmerising and unique bee effect whilst casting a soft and warm light that adds a touch of magic to any room. This effect is showcased in the second product photo.
This is a drum lampshade suitable for use with a lamp or ceiling pendant just choose the required use on ordering. All our lampshades comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008 the British Standard for Luminaries. We recommend using a low energy lightlbulb with our lampshades up to 150 watts.
