I’ve always enjoyed running along the canal path in Worsley. For me, it became a way to switch off from everyday life.
Along the route is an old canal lock which became a little milestone on my runs. When things felt difficult, I would tell myself to “look for the lock.” Reaching it gave me that small but satisfying feeling of having made it through another challenge — a moment of achievement and the motivation to keep going.
That feeling is the inspiration for Looking for the Lock.
I wanted to create a fragrance that gave you that same feeling — a fragrant hug at the end of a long day. Something soothing and comforting, to help you slow down, unwind and enjoy a moment for yourself.
The scent from the diffuser is inspired by the peaceful surroundings of the canal path, bringing a little calm into your home and, hopefully, a reminder to pause and take some me time.
To use, simply fill your electronic diffuser to just below the fill level with water, always refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for your diffuser for guidance on how much oil to use. We have found that the amount recommended depends on the size of the water tank in your diffuser. Small water tanks are usually around 2-3 drops and larger water tanks are around 6-8 drops. This oil can also be used in an oil burner. Adjust the amount according to your desired strength, sit back, and let the scent surround you in a fragrant hug.
